1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using BTC Land (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

BTC Land converts BTC, satoshi, and area values using a simplified model based on Earth's total surface area and a selected BTC supply assumption. Its interactive map is a visualization of calculated area, not a representation of land available for purchase or allocation.

3. Appropriate use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to interfere with its availability, security, or operation. The Service is a client-side calculator and does not provide website status checks, continuous monitoring, or alerts.

4. Estimates and no warranty

The results depend on the selected supply model, area data, rounding, and visualization. The adjusted supply is an estimate based on an assumed amount of lost BTC. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties that results are accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.

5. No financial or land advice

Results are for general educational and visualization purposes only. They are not financial, investment, legal, surveying, or real-estate advice, and do not establish ownership or rights to any land.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service or its results.

7. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date will indicate when this page was most recently revised. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1. Information handled by BTC Land

BTC Land has no user accounts, contact form, or application database. Calculator and map state is represented in query parameters in the URL; it is not submitted to a BTC Land application backend. If you share a URL, its amount, units, supply model, map location, and view settings are visible to people who receive it.

2. Clipboard

The Service writes the current page URL to your clipboard only when you choose “Copy URL”. You can review or edit the URL before sharing it.

3. Technical request data

Cloudflare and the hosting infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the Service, such as IP address, request URL, browser and device details, timestamps, and security signals. A page request can include URL query parameters. The handling and retention of infrastructure logs are subject to the relevant providers’ policies and settings.

4. Analytics, cookies, and local storage

BTC Land uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-LNVT96KHW3) only after you accept analytics in the cookie notice. If accepted, Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga to distinguish browsers and measure site usage. It may process page paths, visit events, and browser and device information. Calculator values and other URL query parameters are not sent to Google Analytics. Google processes analytics data as described in its Privacy Policy. Rejecting analytics prevents the Google tag from loading. You can change or withdraw your choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer; withdrawing disables future analytics and removes Google Analytics cookies where possible. Your choice is stored in local storage so it can be remembered; calculator state is not stored in cookies or local storage. Cloudflare may use separate security-related cookies or similar technologies when needed to deliver or protect the site.
